The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) is proud to join forces with iHeart Media’s Channel 93.3 as a sponsor of the 2020 Rady Children’s Hospital- San Diego Giveathon; the annual two-day event will be held Dec. 9 and 10 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“USAHS is recognized for our commitment to social impact, sponsoring the Rady Children’s Hospital Giveathon is a win for everyone – our alumni who are now working for Rady Children’s Hospital, our current students, our faculty and our community,” says Dr. Brian Goldstein, Chief Academic Officer/Executive Dean of the College of Rehabilitative Sciences at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. “The medical professionals at Rady Children’s Hospital provide exceptional care for their patients and we are proud to support the work they do for our community.”

Channel 93.3 FM will broadcast live each day between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. During the broadcasts, station personalities will interview former patients, physicians and the parents and families of patients currently being treated at the hospital, to share their stories and experiences. Listeners are encouraged to contribute via phone, text and an online portal to benefit the 524-bed pediatric hospital. Donations will help fund lifesaving technology and research, provide a safety net for children with little or no private medical insurance and create a healing environment for patients and their families.
